- Bring it in. No appointment needed - drop in during opening hours. Call ahead if you'd like dedicated time with the jeweller.
- We assess it. Your pieces are examined and tested at our own bench, and we explain what you have.
- Cash or credit. Take a cash offer, or apply the value against a repair, remodel or new piece.

A working jeweller may see value a scrap buyer cannot
A cash-for-gold buyer usually weighs everything as blended scrap and pays on the metal alone. Because we work at the bench, we can look at your piece differently. A good diamond or coloured stone, or a sound setting, clasp or finding, may be reusable in a repair, remodel or new commission - so it may be worth more to us kept whole than melted down. Where that is the case, we may often offer better value than metal weight alone. In any event, we can offer you an honest and professional appraisal.
Many people bring gold or jewellery in for a valuation simply wanting to know what it is worth to sell. We are glad to look at your pieces and make you an offer in the shop, often on the spot. A formal written valuation - for insurance, an estate, a settlement, a donation or tax - is a different thing, which we can arrange through a specialist valuer we work with.
