Rouge Jewellers repairs and restores jewellery at our workshop in Cheltenham, South East Melbourne. We resize rings, retip and replace claws, repair chains, bracelets and clasps, restring pearls, set and replace stones, and restore antique and vintage jewellery, in gold and silver. Every repair is quoted before any work starts.

- Bring it in. You do not need to book.
- We inspect it and give you a quote. Our quotes are valid for 7 days.
- You approve the quote. We may ask for a deposit before work starts.
- We do the work, and contact you when your piece is ready to collect.

How much does a repair cost?
Every repair is quoted before any work starts. The quote depends on the piece, its metal, condition and the work it needs.
How long does a repair take?
It depends on the repair and on how much work is in the workshop. Some minor repairs may be possible the same day, but we can't promise that in advance.
Can you check a piece for wear?
Yes. We can inspect a piece for loose stones, thin claws and worn clasps, and tell you what it needs.
Who does the work
Most repairs are done at our own bench. For some specialist processes we use trade specialists we have worked with for many years. Your piece stays in our care throughout.

Valuations and appraisals
We appraise jewellery in the shop. Formal written valuations, for insurance or for an estate, are arranged through a registered valuer.
