Silver Arrow Bangle

Recycled Silver Recast with Direction and Movement

The bangle was handmade in sterling silver, featuring a silver-gilt arrowhead at one end and an oxidised, textured tail at the other. The two elements overlap slightly, creating a continuous, flowing form that feels dynamic and balanced — as though the arrow has curved gracefully around the wrist. To create the subtle texture on the tail, we rolled the silver lightly through the square wire rolling mill in alternating directions, producing a delicate criss-cross pattern. Rather than directly mimicking the look of feathers, this detail gives the piece a more contemporary edge and a quiet sense of individuality. The oxidised finish deepens the contrast between the tail and the warm gilt arrowhead, enhancing the sense of movement and giving the bangle a modern, sculptural feel. The arrow motif represents focus and forward motion — it felt fitting for this redesign, where old pieces found new purpose in something bold and full of direction.

This piece is not for sale; it is shown as an example of our work. We would be glad to make something of your own, beginning from your stones or old gold if you wish.
